Andrew has a background in website and web application development, networking and server administration. Born and raised in Canada, he moved to New Zealand to begin his path in information technology, starting with a multi-site kiwifruit pack-house in the Bay of Plenty where he worked as the support desk assistant, forklift RFID technician and network technician. While working there he built a web-based asset and job tracking system for the I.T. department, as well as maintaining the business network. After that he began contracting his web development and server administration skills out to a local electrical company. People around the bay noticed his work and he created WebSlate with a mission to use the Internet as a platform for their projects.
